Murray William Johnson is an Australian born thoroughbred horseman with over 40 years of experience across Australia and the United States. Raised in a family deeply rooted in the Australian racing industry, he developed a lifelong foundation in horsemanship before graduating from The Irish National Stud in 1981.

He has worked with some of the industry’s most respected trainers, including Bart Cummings and John Gosden and went on to establish a successful training career in the United States. His achievements include training Green Aligator, winner of the California Derby and Perfect Drift who finished third in the 2002 Kentucky Derby and earned $4.7 million while competing in five consecutive Breeders’ Cup Classics.

In addition to his training career, Murray founded Equine Products, serving as the U.S. distributor for Niagara Equissage. As a consultant, he brings extensive hands on experience in horse management, training and equine operations.
