  • We recommend you bring the following items

    • 4-5 pairs of breeches

    • 3 “sight-seeing” outfits

    • Comfortable sneakers

    • Warm layers like sweaters, long-sleeve shirts, vests, pants, etc.

    • Helmet

    • Tall boots/paddock boots

    • Half chaps

    • European outlet adaptor

    • Provide a list of emergency contacts and list of allergies

  • All students will fly into the Shannon airport where transportation will be provided to and from the training center.

  • No, each student will need to pay for their own airfare. All students must purchase their own travel insurance.

  • Payment will be due once your application has been approved. A 20% deposit will be due to secure your place within five days of acceptance with the balance due six weeks before your course begins. Payments should be made by Direct Bank Transfer or by Wise to Horse Academy Ireland through Allied Irish Banks (AIB) and all finances will be administered by Clifford Desmond & Associates, chartered accountants and registered auditors.

  • Yes, we require all students to purchase their own international travel and medical care insurance.

  • No, only a valid and current passport is required. The passport must be valid throughout the duration of the trip. U.S. citizens can enter visa-free for tourism or business stays of up to 90 days.
